Should I pause/blow my Apex account after a $2k payout and come back later with 20 accounts?
I just requested my first $2k payout from an Apex 100k account today.
I've been reading that Apex sometimes moves people to a Live account after 1-2 payouts on a funded account. My long-term goal isn't to trade just one account though. I eventually want to run around 20 Apex accounts.
So I'm thinking about just intentionally blowing this account (or pause trading) after the payout, focusing on another prop firm for a while, building more capital, then coming back to Apex later and buying 20 evals at once.
My thinking is that I'd rather have the chance to get max payouts across 20 accounts. moved to Live on this single account after only making maybe another $4-6k.
Does this make sense, or am I overthinking it? Has anyone here purposely stopped trading or even blown an account to avoid getting moved to Live too early?
