Full irs audit

I was just notified of a 2024 audit. They are disallowing my schedule C, w2 federal taxes paid, and my dependents unless I can submit proof. I have everything for my dependents and w2 to submit but I did not keep great record for my side job and have very little to submit and I'm getting overwhelmed trying to determine which is good to send . Would it be bad to just send in the w2 info and dependents and deal with whatever i have to pay back. I'm heavily overwhelmed with all of this and its just becoming not worth it.

Amended during audit and amendment accepted but 2 months later getting irs notification

My 2024 return was being audited according to my transcript in Sept 2025. I've never received a notice regarding it but when I looked at my return I seen my Preparer had misplaced a comma in my depreciation in my schedule C and missed a small w2 of 1k. I asked to amend in March 2025 and she said we can't until the IRS accepts it and then we amend. I waited and waited and no change or letter so after rounds and rounds I finally got my login info to amend myself. I corrected all the errors including the error she had in my regular w2 income by 1k and my children's names were all mixed up. I submitted the amendment and it change my refund by about 6k in early Feb 2026. My amendment was accepted and refund was paid Feb 27 2026 and amendment finalized march 30 2026. Transcript updated 846. Fast forward to March and my audit status page never changed until I checked again in May and now the audit status page shows audit start date of March 13 2026 and first notice sent out may 8 2026. Any ideas as to what could be going on or if I'm being audited all over again despite never being notified I was even being audited.
