Hi, I have a BMW B48 engine. When I removed the ignition coil, a transparent/yellow cone-shaped plastic/rubber piece came out with the coil, and it normally sits between the ignition coil and the spark plug in the spark plug well.

In my case it also looks damaged/torn, and I need to replace it but I cannot find the correct part name or part number. I’m not sure if it belongs to the ignition coil or the spark plug tube seal/valve cover system.

Is this:

• a coil boot/part of the ignition coil assembly?
• a spark plug tube seal / valve cover insert?
• or something else specific to the B48 design?

Any help identifying the correct part number would be appreciated.
