Remapping a roomba to do figure 8s

well, hello Roomba enthusiasts! This is my second post on Reddit and it is also my second post on the roomba forum! I’m working on a art piece where I want to make physical changes to a Roomba, and additionally make it only move in a figure 8 motion. There was probably some code on GitHub that I can find, but I am not that technically enthusiastic and savvy, and I’d love if somebody could direct me and give me the simpleton version.

In my last post on Reddit, my first, I’ve reached out to the Roomba community asking, which is the most iconic vacuum in terms of design. Once the community comes to an agreement, I will be taking that unit and applying some artistic features. After that, I would like it to move in a figure 8 motion on a gallery floor. At the end of it service, it returns charging dock to charge fully until I can return to the figure movement.

Is this crazy? Is this undoable? This should be totally doable. It’s simply a computer and should be able to perform these actions.

This is for a gallery artwork piece for industrial design. I would love feedback inspiration anything. I know you guys read it don’t play about this shit and you’re very serious so I’d love for you guys to dig into me and tell me what’s what I’m all ears and I’m ready to bare it. voice to text.

Most Iconic Roomba Of All Time?

hello Roomba enthusiasts! I have actually had to make a Reddit account to talk to people. On that note I truly do appreciate your interest in Roombas and I think it’s bad ass to be passionate anyways I am working on an art project and I want to coat a Roomba in a material I’m not gonna get into the details because my art is so secretive and so hidden (I’m joking. It’s one of my first pieces) but anyways, I want to know if you guys what is the most iconic Roomba like whether it be OG or just the best version of a Roomba I’m curious what you guys decide is the proper item that you would turn into Roomba art! I don’t really care about the technology of its vacuuming, more just iconic silhouettes. I appreciate all feedback and I love you guys’s community! thanks for reading.
