How do recruiters view those that need mental health waivers?

I want to join the Air Force, but I do have a mental health history. I’m interested in getting an evaluation done so I can hopefully be cleared before meeting with a recruiter. However, I’m wondering if it would be better to get evaluated beforehand or wait until after speaking with a recruiter first.

If anyone here has gone through the mental health waiver or evaluation process for the Air Force, could you walk me through how it worked for you? I’m especially wondering:

Whether you got evaluated before or after talking to a recruiter?

What documents or records you needed

How long the waiver process took

Whether MEPS requested additional evaluations or paperwork?

Any advice or personal experiences would really help

Do you get bullied everyday?

I'm not really sure how to word it but essentially every single time I go out, I'm at work, or at school I am badly talked about by strangers, coworkers, or even classmates. People talk about how weird, sus, or creepy I am even though I don't do anything wrong I just mind my business and do my own thing. I feel like it's my facial/body expressions but I'm not sure. I'm honestly just considering going into hiding at this point because I don't want to deal with this for the rest of my life.
