Is it normal for my cat to lay down roll on her stomach and wait for me to rub my head on her?
I’ve had my cat since she was a kitten (I rescued her), and I’ve had her for a couple years now. I already know my cat loves me as her behavior shows that, but she does this weird thing and idk if it’s normal or what it means. When I get home or get out of the shower she will follow me until Im in my room and then she will lie down and roll to where her stomach is facing me. She will stay like this and wait for me to rub my face/head all over her… Idk if this is weird but like I’ve always nuzzled in her fur when like laying down with her so maybe that’s why? I just did it one time after I got out of the shower to mess with her because my hair was wet, but she really likes it. Is this normal? Why does she do this? I don’t really know if this ties in my I am female if that matters at all I know some animals have preferences. Also sometimes she wakes me up in the middle of the night to do this. Also also she often rolls over to show me her stomach, but when she wants me to rub my head on her she’ll face her stomach towards my feet.
