It’s just soooo frustrating, constantly trying to stay out of their way and our whole routine gets messed up.
Today they showed up at 9am but it was only one housekeeper. I told her to start with the bedrooms so they would be done by nap time. She decided to start with the bathrooms instead. I had to kick her out of the baby’s room for nap time because she took so long in the bathrooms.
Then she finally gets to the living room and I ask if she can do the kitchen instead because we have lunch at 11:30. She said sure but it will take her an hour. Like am I supposed to push back lunch by half an hour and delay second nap??
I know housekeepers make NPs lives much easier, but MB gets the same weekday off every week and could schedule cleaning on that day. But no, let’s schedule it for any other day so that the nanny has to deal with it.
I much prefer teams of 2-3 cleaners so that they’re done in an hour or two instead of 1 cleaner taking all day to do the house whole and we’re in her way the whole time.
