Hello!

I just bought this papaya on a recommendation from a friend. It's hard and Google says by the green color, unripe.

I was seeing someone saying to out it in a paper bagso it ripens. Do I have to?

Can I just leave it on my counter and it will get ripe?

So, I see people saying either to wait until its all yellow or some people say orange to open, does it matter which color?

My first time trying papaya and I want to give it the best chance of being yummy 💕 thanks!
