the seeds CAN get a bit annoying but i lwk don't care, i think they r always sweeter than green grapes
Was completely dry inside.. even the fleshy white bits
I live in south Florida and it's Mango season, but all the mangoes you can reach are usually gone when walking around the neighborhood.
They tend to hang over the public sidewalks and roads.
So I invented this and it's extendable. They use the pole to wash RVs. It worked pretty well the first time trying it!
I used a old fishing net, extendable pole from homedepot, and a gardening tool. You just place the tool right over the fruit you want and pull down. In one day we got all of this for free! 🥭
tldr. For the summer Im living in an area with only one Mini Market "nearby" (not really)
Their fruits are all refregirerated.
So I buy bananas, apples, pears and nectarines from there.
Can I store them outside the fridge or should I also refrigerate them?
Sometimes their fruits are ripe and sometimes they're not.
Thanks
I personally love it, so versatile
During our walk, we found a bunch of fruit in clusters. It’s green so I don’t think it’s ripe. I’m wondering if it’s safe to pick and eat
As for me,that's mini watermelons called
"Benikodama(紅小玉)"watermelon.
The watermelons are sold at 300yen(1.68USD)for each,
quite low price for watermelons.
I live in Japan and have been enjoying them recently.
I've been getting them from a local farmars market near me, and they taste extreme juicy,sweet,mouth-watering.
Since they are in the peak of their season.
Also they have very thin skin,so you can have a lot of
edible part compared to big watermelons.
Back to the topic, what's the most affordable seasonal
fruits where you live currently?
I'd appreciate any comment to share yours.
These boysenberries are perfection! Their nodules are so tender that they stain your hands when you eat them.
Their nodules royal brooks cherry is a beast that’s super dense and sweet.
Yum!
They're hard and I had a difficult time scraping it off with my spoon. Google says fungal infestation, bee larvae, overly mature coconut, or spoiled -- so I'm hoping to get a clear answer here lol😢
Water tastes like regular coconut water, not much fruit inside. I ordered this at a restaurant and wanted to scrape some meat but found this instead.
*24h update (yes the post is newer because i posted it after):
Symptoms: Diarrhea and exhaustion, no nausea
Went to hospital and they said based on my history and symptoms I am OK. A stool test wasn't necessary but I did one anyway. BP and pulse normal
Doctor said it's likely very mild food poisoning and that it's the best possibility so I am very, very relieved lmao.. he even referenced the case where a death occurred due to a bad coconut, lot of comments here got me very worried about that and I thank you all for your wisdom and wishes
He said it's mostly likely some sort of fungal or bacterial related formation
All I need is rest and hydration and I'll be fine.
I hope nobody will ever see meet this sort of morbidly terrifying coconut formation like I did. The name of the restaurant was in Thai in Chiang Mai and I had no idea what it said, being in Thailand for over a decade I let my guard down on fruits after the thousand coconuts I probably had here by now. Anyway, appreciate the medical comments !
I think this is a Haden mango. Does this mean it’s starting to spoil?
For me,They are fully ripe soldam plums like these in pictures.I've been hooked on them recently.
Aroma of ripe soldams is mellow and strong,
like a liqueur.
Their tastes are very flavorful.
Always made me relaxed,refreshed,and energized.
I'm very happy that they are in season where I live.
I can't help but buying them if I found them in a market.
Please share your fruits you've been craving for.
Any comments are appreciated!
