My younger brother had me trespassed from our property. A state cop just showed up and gave me the trespassing notice. How can he trespass me from our property when I wasn’t even there?
Short version, Grandfather died and left house in Newport to my mother who was in good health. A year later my mother died out of thin air. I lived out of state. My younger sibling lived in Maine. I asked him if he could manage being the head of the estate. Well 4 years later after me asking him repeatedly if he was going to sell the property with no response he calls me and tells me I need to give him 5,500$. I had just had children and couldn’t afford it. He took out a loan and paid the taxes just to turn around and tell me the house was now his. He just couldn’t understand it was his job to sell the house. Also the taxes were paid when our mother died. Anyway two years ago I come to Maine to find the house and property a complete disaster. Walls collapsing in pipes had been cut out furnace no longer works. I end up moving in and getting the house back in shape. Last summer I moved to go work with the intention of coming back to the house in Newport. My brother had moved in told me to kick rocks. Yesterday I showed up to grab some stuff and saw my grandfather’s old desk covered in dirt and chicken poop so I took it. Sibling calls me irate because I took it. I simply said I didn’t think it would be a problem but because it is a problem he can come get it but I would like my bureau and table and chairs. Not because I need it but because he’s being absolutely ridiculous. If it was so important then why was it covered in dirt and chicken crap. 5 minutes ago I have a state cop arrive at my door and serve me a trespass.
At this point, I don’t care if we both lose the house we promised to never fight over it and I never have but he’s not doing anything he’s supposed to be doing.
Who should I contact? I have very limited funds but if there’s a lawyer out there, that’s willing to help me out his cut can come out of my share. I want him out.
I wanna move to Kentucky. Looking for a single woman who needs help around the house or things done until I can get on my feet. ( god this sounds like something a serial killer would say 😒. I’m sure I could probably word this all differently..
so who am I? I’m a hardworking man who is looking for a way to get to Kentucky, so I can be closer to my children.
Actually, I’m not even looking for a way to get to Kentucky. I’m just looking for a place to stay in eastern Kentucky around or in Lexington. Apparently that’s where my children are located. I am 6 foot four 230 pounds blonde hair, blue eyes and I would consider myself handsome. I’m nice. I’m courteous. I’m respectful. I have manners. I have no criminal record and as of this moment, I also feel like I have no purpose. I miss my kids and I need them and they need me. I pretty much know how to do a little bit of everything. I have a very strong work ethic. Strong as in back in the day strong not 2026 strong I don’t call out of work. I don’t miss work. I’m not late for work. I’m responsible and clean. I’m not big into drinking I’ve probably been drunk two times in the last six years. I’m not into drugs. I literally don’t know anything about Kentucky. I’ve been there one time and it was when I was 18 a buddy and me said hey let’s drive to Kentucky to meet sexy country girls, and we packed up a tent and some hotdogs and drove to Kentucky. It was actually the best trip I’ve ever been on the people were so friendly, extremely thoughtful and helpful and we had a blast. We actually ended up staying a week longer than we had planned because somebody in Kentucky said hey, you can stay at my place because it was hot out. That’s about all I know.
I have no problem paying my way. Depending on what this person has to offer I can arrive with all my stuff or a backpack and start from scratch. I have debated on whether or not to pitch a tent and start from absolutely nothing but that’s a little more difficult than people think.
