I work for a small company and the owner has been trying for a long time to get a Wikipedia page set up for the business.

I know he had someone trying to get it going a couple of years ago but they weren't able to. Now he's been approached by a company that says they can do an audit, and then help to set it up. We asked them what the minimum requirements would be for the page, but they don't want to give us any information until we sign up with them for the audit. And I don't know if it's worth spending the money with them for an audit only to find out that we're still lacking...

Can anyone give me an idea of what is needed to get a Wikipedia page up and running?

I just need to vent. I have an Uber account, and I'm also the admin for our business account. About 10 days ago I tried to log on to the business portal, which I do by logging on with my personal credentials. For some reason, even though my passwords are auto-filled, it did not fill in. I entered it in manually and I got a message that my password was incorrect. 99% sure it wasn't. I checked Keeper and my Google passwords, and I tried again, and again it didn't accept. Tried a few more times in vain, and it wouldn't let me try anymore. Note, there was no 'forgot my password' option, nor was there an option to sign in another way, which is something I often did; I would enter my email address and I'd get a code. No option for that this time. And for over a week, it completely locked me out. Didn't matter if I waited 24 hours or 36 hours... it wouldn't let me even try to log in.

I have been going back and forth with uber ever since. I have told them repeatedly what is going on and half the time they tell me things like 'double check your password' or 'clear your cache'. Dude, it's not letting me do anything! They send me links to reset my password, but in order to do that I have to sign in and I can't do it, because it won't accept my old password.

I've been told 3 times that my issue has been escalated, and each time it's escalated I have to tell my story all over again. This morning's message was from a rep who wrote "I understand you are having trouble with the app". Ugh. No, the app, fortunately, is ok. I just can't sign on with the url on my desktop or phone.

Bottom line, there's no 'forgot my password' or 'sign in another way' features available anymore. I don't know if this is a bug with their site but it's making me crazy. And meanwhile, I still can't log on via url.

I have an old (8 years old, maybe) laptop which runs Windows 10. I have QB 2014, the one with the cd, installed on it.

I use QB to help my Dad with his bookkeeping, but mostly just as a record-keeping tool. He creates the client invoices himself out of Excel, and he keeps track of the AR etc. I enter the invoices into QB with the correct classifications to help the accountant at tax time. I also enter the payables, and the client payments. We don't use it for payroll or anything else. And we don't need QB support.

I am considering getting a new laptop but I'm not sure of a couple of things

Can I install the 2014 onto a new laptop if it doesn't have a cd drive? I assume a new laptop would have Windows 11.

If I decide to switch from Windows to Mac, same question as above... and also, would it run at all on a MAC?
