Hello sorry if bad question but is valvoline restore and protect worth it for 2014 honda civic exl 1.8l with 125k miles ? Typically the way i think of it is that if the engine is GDI then use Valvoline Restore and protect because the o ring issues, for ex on my kia sportage i use it always. for the civic I am thinking twice about it because i used to use super tech which is $18 for 5 qts and an OEM filter for $9, but now I bought the valvoline restore and protect for $30 and the mobil1-110A filter for $12 and I've noticed nothing. The engine has been well maintained and oil changed every 4-5k miles for its life and checking under the valve cover only slight build up in the valleys. Any advice is appreciated.
