Need help marking out spray holes on Mini Moonboard Panel
Hello all, complete beginner/newbie here.
I'm looking to build a Mini Moonboard without the LED and I wanted to basically add a tnut for spray equidistant at a diagonal offset to the moonboard holds.
I tried to do a rough mockup using a sketchup I found from a youtuber (shoutout to Jake Krebs!), where the dashed lines intersect would be for spray, and where the solid lines intersect would be for the moonboard holds.
I also found another post from this subreddit that also did this (included in screenshot).
Questions:
I'm an absolute newbie but is there anything I should be aware of when doing this? I literally just took the midpoint, and plan to drill it in (at least in the spots that wouldn't be impeded by a stud from the back).
I noticed this other youtuber that followed Jake Krebs tutorial installed joist hangers on both ends of the studs, whereas it looked like Jake only fastened his with screws at the top and then attached it to the kickboard with joist hangers. Should I be adding joist hangers to both ends?
Also any help would be appreciated. Bonus point for if anyone followed Jake Krebs tutorial.
Thank you!
