Charged my Tesla, 29kWh, but emphases only showing 8.3kWh consumed. What am I missing?

So really got used to FSD but after four month of trial time, I now want to see what it’s like without. I am retired, don’t drive a lot other then a weekly or week and a half 200 mile day plus scattered 100 mile days. I have a 26 Y with auto steer beta.

How can I best leverage auto steer?

My tax bill last year was about 30% more than what Boldin estimated. I feel like all my data is correct, even had the Boldin review done about a year and a half ago. What / where should I be looking to identify root cause?
