Hey everyone,

I recently got a new HP Victus laptop, and something strange happened. While playing a high-demanding game, I suddenly noticed a burnt smell coming from the laptop. I immediately quit the game.

After that, I tried playing again with the exact same settings, but this time there was no smell at all.

Now I’m not sure if this is normal (like maybe first-time heating or something?) or if it’s a sign of a bigger issue.

Is it safe to continue using it normally, or should I get it checked/replaced? Has anyone experienced something similar?
