Ordered cigarettes from Blinkit and got what looks like a counterfeit product.
The quality is clearly off — branding looks manually pasted and the tobacco quality is nowhere near original. This isn’t just bad service, this is a consumable product. Selling fake cigarettes is a serious safety issue.
Now the shocking part:
- Their system/support FIRST offered me a refund
- As soon as a human agent joined, everything changed
- Suddenly it became “we only work with authorized vendors, so fake products are not possible”
- Then they refused to help altogether
Attaching full chat screenshots as proof.
This is not about ₹240. It’s about a platform selling questionable products and then hiding behind scripted responses instead of taking responsibility.
If this is how Blinkit handles something as basic as a counterfeit consumable, I honestly don’t know what else on the platform can be trusted.
Has anyone else faced this? Or is this normal now for quick commerce apps?
Posting this so people are aware before ordering things they actually consume.
