Equity Market Watch, Live Nifty & Sensex Charts & News

My selection Universe is NSE 200 . I prefer eps > 8% and price < 3000

Lower price helps to accumulate fast. This is like for 1% growth , I can earn 1 new for each 100 invested with lesser captial

With very high price, this process become slow.

Most retail investors obsess over “multibagger stories” but ignore one practical factor: accumulation speed.

My stock selection universe is mainly the NIFTY 200.
I generally prefer:

  • EPS growth > 8%
  • Price below ₹3000

Why?

Because lower share price improves the compounding unit economics for medium-capital investors.

Example:

  • If a stock is ₹100 and grows 1%, you create ₹1 value per share.
  • If you invest ₹10,000, you can accumulate 100 shares.
  • That means even small SIP-style additions meaningfully increase your ownership over time.

Now compare this with a ₹25,000 stock:

  • Your capital accumulates much slower.
  • Fractional accumulation becomes psychologically and practically harder.
  • Averaging and staggered buying lose flexibility.

This is not about “cheap stocks”.
It is about efficient accumulation mechanics.

For investors below ₹1 Cr net worth, capital efficiency matters more than prestige pricing.

I’m optimizing for:

  • steady accumulation
  • repeatable additions
  • easier compounding cycles
  • manageable position sizing
  • gradual income replacement through equity growth

A lot of wealth building is simply:

>

Higher-priced stocks slow that machine unless your capital base is already large.

That’s why I prefer reasonably growing businesses with scalable accumulation potential instead of only chasing ultra-expensive compounders.

Curious how others think about:

  • accumulation velocity
  • share price psychology
  • position sizing for medium-scale portfolios
  • balancing quality vs accumulation speed in Indian markets
