I just inherited an a7III and a number of lenses, one of which is the Sony FE 1.8/85, and the focus is a little short wide-open, and the body is telling me it’s an incompatible lens and it’s not adjustable? Really?? I’ve been a semi-pro shooter for 20+ years shooting Nikon and Canon pro DSLRs, and I’ve never heard of such a thing. If this isn’t fixable, it’s a complete dealbreaker. How can Sony get away with selling tens of thousands of bodies and lenses that are literally effectively unusable?
