Completely bombed Chem Paper 4... is it still possible to save my grade?
I’ve been spiraling. I went into p4 feeling actually prepared, but as soon as I opened the exam, my brain just went blank. I couldn’t solve ANYTHING.
Usually, I’m hitting around 60 marks in practice, but realistically, I think I only managed about 30 marks this time, but that’s being very strict with myself. I can’t stop thinking about how much I messed up and it's making it hard to focus on the rest of my papers.
Here is my situation:
Paper 4: disaster 30 marks I think.
Paper 2: I can pull around 40 marks
Paper 1: I score 30 marks in practice usually
Papers 3 & 5: These are usually my saving grace; I almost always get near full in these...
Honestly, I feel like I’ve thrown away my chance at a good grade because of how heavily P4 is weighted. Has anyone ever messed up this badly on the paper and still managed to pull a B through the other components? if not what's the max I can get?
Is the threshold usually forgiving enough to carry me if my P1, P2, P3, and P5 are solid? I need a reality check because right now it feels like game over. what can I do to up my grade....
