Trying to decide on investing in this

I have been thinking in investing in this company.
I have done some reading but I have difficulty understanding what the company actually does and where they stand along other companies such as LITE. is their technology proven?
also, can someone explain what happened with MRVL?
lastly, what makes you confident this is a buy
