Hey all,
I’m an Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Yale. I’m running customer discovery interviews as part of an NSF I-Corps program — basically trying to understand how people in their 20s–50s actually navigate stuff like burnout, perfectionism, recurring stress patterns, or feeling stuck, outside of being in clinical crisis.
Not therapy. Not selling anything. Not pitching a product. I literally just want to hear what’s worked for you, what hasn’t, and what’s annoying about the tools out there (apps, journaling, therapy, books, whatever).
The deal:
• 20-minute video call, super casual
• $15 via Venmo
• No prep, no “right” answers, you stay
anonymous in any write-up
You’d be a great fit if:
• You’re 25–55ish
• You’ve got a demanding job or life
• You’ve tried (or considered trying) some form of self-improvement — and have opinions about it
• You’re willing to be honest, including about things that didn’t work
Comment below or DM me with a sentence or two about yourself and 2–3 times that work this week. I’ll send a calendar link.
Happy to verify my Yale affiliation by DM if helpful.
