I have a kitten that is about 6ish months old and he is showing signs of Uveitis. Had anyone had this before with their cats? He seems scared because his 3rd eyelid is showing on his right eye. We went to the vet yesterday and they gave him medicine like eye drops and ointment. How long does it take to improve?

Cat 6 months Male Domestic shorthair We got him from a shelter. He had been healthy up until now. The vet cleared him of anything like scratch causing the eye issues. He is showing his 3rd eyelid They have mostly tested him for everything except herpes and other respiratory issues because it is so expensive
