I, like most of us raised in this classist society, certainly look down upon trailer homes as I've been taught to through society lol.

But some of these newer ones are actually quite nice, within my price range as a single buyer and seem tempting... but I have a hard time getting over the fact that they're mobile homes.

NJ SPECIFIC ---

NJ has implemented a program called the Community Wealth Preservation Act; allows owners/tenants, non profits right of first refusal to a house being foreclosed on; then prospective buyers with intent to occupy** meaning willing to stay in house as primary residence for 7 years ** can go in and bid BEFORE (with 3.5% down instead and 90 days to secure funding) it's open to investors at the usual 20% down etc.

I found a house scheduled for auction 4/27 - the deed was transferred through "sale or settlement" BUT not in LIEU OF FORECLOSURE.

From what I understand the foreclosure is still on, correct? Since it is not a sale in lieu of foreclosure, am I still allowed to bid on auction day as buyer occupant? Is this actually still up for sale and they took a gamble?
