Hello All Plant-Enthusiasts!!🫡

I have recently gotten into the hobby and am a total beginner in gardening.

I would like to use some help to know what type of potting soil do you all use that works for most plants? Do you make the potting mix from scratch or get the ready to use ones? And how do you know when to use what kind of fertilizers?

The guy from the nearby nursery mixed garden soil ( red soil) , cocopeat and vermicompost for all my pots.
