I just finished the series, which I devoured in under a month!
I was hooked and on the edge of my seat through all of it.
And then, in the last few chapters, everything fell apart.

KOA was a lesson in patience, which I could appreciate at the time, since I thought >!I will be rewarded with an epic battle scene at the gates of Terrasen.
But then she lost her powers (????) and everything from that point forward felt so rushed and half-assed 😭 I have so many questions!

What about all the Morath monsters that were promised?
What was the point of the scene in Ilium with the overseer if we didn’t deal with any creatures of the kind later on?
Why were we so worried about the spiders if a group of warriors we didn’t even get to know(??) handled them so easily?
How come getting Erwan to submit ended up being so easy?
Why did Gavriel have to die???
What happened with Aedion and the shield in the fight against the Valg prince?
Why was everyone cheering for Yrene she barely had to do anything??? Like she wasn’t the one who suffered through EVERYTHING. >!

I’m sure I had other questions, but I can’t remember at the moment.

Would love some outside perspective on this because it left me with a bit of a sour taste for a series that was so wonderful and promising up until that point.

Picture depicting the greatest emotional damage of the last month, which I hated, but could understand the decision behind it.

(P.s if my English is wrong I apologize, as it is not my first language)
