Context: B2B SaaS, ~50 person team, doing outbound to fintech ops leaders. Reply rate sitting at 1.2% and the funnel is dying.
The personalization layer is the bottleneck, not the copy or the cadence. Every "Hi {firstName}, noticed you're at {company}" looks the same as the next one in the inbox.
Where I'm stuck:
- Apollo data is stale. Half the contacts have moved or have been hit by 10+ competitors already.
- VAs on Upwork at $8/hr give surface-level LinkedIn copy-paste. Same intel I could pull in 30 seconds.
- Clay is $349/mo plus credit costs and only one person on the team knows how to operationalize a table. Single point of failure.
- Research firm quoted $5K/mo for what is, honestly, structured Googling at scale.
- ChatGPT-on-LinkedIn workflows produce generic "your post about leadership resonated" garbage that buyers see right through.
What I actually need is per-prospect intel, one or two real signals each, on 50-500 prospects at a time.
How are you handling personalization at volume? Open to any approach including ones I haven't tried.
