Looking for some consistent, high-quality chats and virtual company. Not necessarily looking for romance, but open to it with the right connection. About me:

I am freshly turned 40 and facing midlife wondering how I got here. I’m a full time working single mother to two kids (13 and 10) living in SW PA. I’ve been single pretty much since my marriage ended in 2020 and I’ve taken this time to learn more about myself including who I really am as a person and what I want and will not tolerate. The boundaries are strong and I’m no longer afraid to enforce them. I have a BA in psychology and work in the social work/human services industry. I’m a USAF veteran and a photographer of almost 15 years (started on Nikon, I now have a Sony mirrorless). I have played World of Warcraft since 2007. I enjoy writing poetry and reading sci-fi and fantasy. I’m also a big true crime aficionado. I enjoy a big range of music but am drawn more to stuff like emo/pop punk, metalcore, post-hardcore, etc. Physically I am about 5’8”, on the thicker side. I have a short pixie-style haircut, wear glasses, have facial piercings/stretched ears and am heavily tattooed.

Another thing to note about me is that I am neurodivergent AF with a high IQ. I was formally diagnosed with ADHD at 27 and with autism at 34. So basically I’m really smart but still somehow unable to make lasting friendships or remember to take out the trash.

I’m left of left politically and an atheist. Please no MAGA or anyone who “doesn’t do politics” or considers themselves to be “apolitical”. You can think the government sucks no matter who runs it but if you refuse to have opinions on things like basic human rights then we don’t have a difference of opinion, we have a difference of morals.

420 friendly, I have a MMJ card because that’s how it is legal in my state. I’m not into ENM/polyamory so please don’t message me if you’re not 100% single. I’m also not the fix or distraction you need from your dead marriage.

Like the title says, I’m not sure what I’m looking for. A good friend? Something more? I’ve been single now for over 3 years and it’s feeling like I might never find the complement to my chaos. I don’t need more chaos, so don’t think that’s what I’m looking for. I’m looking for that person who can pull me back from the edge of insanity and anchor me. And I want to be able to do that for someone else!

I’m a single mom of two kids (13 and 10, so not babies) and I don’t plan on having anymore. So if you’re still looking to build a family, I’m not ya gal. Their dad and I coparent well and we have a good relationship.

I’m an atheist and my politics are very left. No MAGA and preferably no one very religious. Please also be 100% SINGLE.

Physically, I am 5’8” and on the thicker side. Lots of tattoos and piercings. I wouldn’t say that I have a physical type but I’d like someone my height or taller who takes care of themselves. I’m not asking for a gym rat or anything, but putting effort into your appearance goes a long way (well-groomed hair and facial hair, etc).

Personality wise, I’m a bit silly and quirky - I have valid diagnoses of both autism and ADHD. If you don’t know how to handle some neurodivergence, keep scrolling, haha. I tend to be drawn to men who are witty, intelligent, and funny.

Am I too old to be using terms like “baddie”? Probably. I don’t care, though. I am an adult diagnosed autistic + ADHD woman (yes my diagnoses are formal). I don’t want small talk, I want to be weird and deep with someone. But I don’t want it to feel like a job interview, ya know? Let’s just have a conversation.

My kids just left for the summer to be with their dad and I am bored and lonely. I start a new job in a week so I’m looking for someone to keep me entertained until then and possibly after if the vibe is right.
