With all the ads stating that A3 with the mm precision LiDAR and smartness, I tried to drop it in the garden and create map. The mower is brand new and I had high expectations. I am not impressed.

It did not manage to follow the fence around the garden, It misinterpreted the Jungle Gym and just drive around the whole thing, and around the same slide 3 times before continuing.

It then got stuck between some fences similar to the one in the photo (I easily drove it through manually afterwards.

In a 24 degree 25m2 hill it went back and forth a meter, sent out a beep, before it relocated to another place on the hill and the same happened, and so on. After many tries it reversed it self up against a tree. The rear wheel went up the tree until the mower flipped over and rolled down.

And then the attached pictures. It suddenly decided to make a turn and backed it self up on top of the bush before I managed to press the stop button.

Have I gotten a broken unit or are the marketing and reviews just fakes? A unit with mm precision LiDAR should have no problem identifying that it is colliding with a tree and just keeps the wheels spinning to brute force through it. Has happened on other parts of the garden to.

Any similar experiences? Should I return it for a repairs or just return it and claim my money back? I'm afraid that if I tell them to repair it i will only get a semi working unit back and spend a lot of time trying to fix it.

Or an I doing something else wrong?

The unit was bought from Net on Net in Norway.
