EOI Job Tenure Selection: Internal promotion/team change under same NOC and employer?
Hello everyone, I applied under the Employer Job Offer Foreign Worker stream, and I have confusion regarding this field in the EOI:
“Please select the duration of employment in the position of your job offer to date. Only work conducted in Ontario in the same occupation for the same employer should be counted.”
My current job offer position experience is around 1.2 years, but before this role I also have around 1 more year of experience in Ontario under the same company and same NOC code, and it is continuous experience leading into my current role. So in total I have around 2.2 years of experience under the same employer and same occupation.
Because of that, and also based on my employer’s guidance, I selected “Over 2 years currently working in job offer position” instead of the “1 to 2 years currently working in job offer position” option.
Has anyone had a similar situation or knows if that selection is correct based on the wording? Please let me know, I would really appreciate any guidance.
