Every seasonal highlight so far has followed a clear pattern: the Sinners either lose an essential part of themselves or fail to achieve the growth they reached in their Canto.

G Corp Gregor represents a version of Gregor still trapped in the war—defined entirely by the very thing that made him an outcast: his G Corp augmentations.

N Corp Sinclair is a Sinclair who never found the strength to stand up for himself or make his own decisions, just as he was before his Canto—unable to defy his family.

Spicebush Yi Sang embodies a Yi Sang who lacks the will to move forward, much like his pre-Canto self, paralyzed by the belief that he would never reach his full potential.

Ahab Ishmael shows an Ishmael consumed by obsession, driven by a single purpose—mirroring the same fixation that dominated most of her Canto.

Wild Hunt Heathcliff is a Heathcliff overtaken by hatred—both toward himself and everything tied to Wuthering Heights. These are the very feelings he was able to confront and move past after speaking with Cathy… something this version will never achieve.

Manager Don is, quite simply, a Don without her dream.

Lord Hong Lu represents a Hong Lu who abandoned everything he fought for in his Canto. While LCB Hong Lu believed in kindness and the possibility of creating a better world for others—even after everything he endured—this version discarded those ideals, seizing power by force and leaving behind what once defined him.

Which brings us to the question:

What will Ryoshu’s seasonal highlight lack that LCB Ryoshu achieved?

Personally, I believe it will be a Ryoshu who was never able to sever her connection with the “nurse-fathers.” Her Canto revolves around the idea of cutting ties with those who hurt you—so a version of her that fails to do so would perfectly align with the established pattern.

What do you think will be the defining difference between Seasonal Highlight Ryoshu and LCB Ryoshu?
