Flu like reaction to medication (looking for advice)

Hi everyone, I suffer from ME/CFS and POTS, recently I've been having reactions to medications I didn't have problems with before.

I was advised to look into MCAS as it is common in people with these conditions.

Has anyone ever head of something like this? Should I speak to an allergist?

In short i wanted to know if this could be MCAS.

For now I don't have any other specific allergic symptoms... But when I have these reactions my brain feels "weird" I don't know how to describe it.

Anyone with IBD? (Crohns or Colitis)

Hi, Just wondering if anyone also has Crohns or Ulcerative Colitis as comorbidities.

I developed Crohns before ME... I was also curious to know if any of the immunosuppressants for IBD helped you with ME symptoms.

why I developed chronic illness

Hi everyone!

I asked the cards what caused me to become chronically ill, and I think the spread suggests that stress, pressure, and constantly trying to overachieve may have played a big role in my illness.

The Ace of Pentacles at the end feels different, but I’m not fully sure how to interpret it.

I’d really appreciate hearing other interpretations or perspectives on these cards!

Thank you :)

Hi everyone,

I recently started having flu like reaction to medication I take, in particular this started happening after i took one pill of the antibiotic Cirpo which i had a horrible reaction to. The effects of this reaction lasted about 1 month, but I didn't experince flu like symptoms on this medication.

After this i had a flu like reaction to Amoxicillin which i always took without any problem before.

I also had a flu like reaction to the immunosuppressant i was taking after 4 days, I had to stop it, now my baseline has gotten worse.

Could this be related to MCAS? Or is it just having ME?

I don't know what to do beacuse i need to be on these medications, so i can't just keep stopping them.

I will take any advice! Thank you.
