I always keep truck in 4WD auto; I was in reverse going uphill with about 200lbs in bed. My auto emergency brake came on then the truck was in 4WD high both on selector and dash.
My question is let’s say the truck was in 4wd high the whole time as I may have accidentally touched the button did I cause any damage?
Or is it possible I didn’t actually touch the button but when in reverse the truck put itself in 4WD high. I’m hoping this is the case but I doubt it I always assumed 4WD auto will stay selected even if the truck NEEDS to be in high or low. Just hoping I didn’t cause any damage or premature wear.
