There was already one app that did the same thing but just wanted to share. I'm improving on it on a weekly basis as I have a day job and 2 kids to take care of and only have time for this at like 11pm everyday. Would like some feedback or roast and one star me so that I can improve on it.

I built a small app called EvntLah (evntlah.com) for event hosts to collect photos from their guests, no WhatsApp groups, no AirDrop chaos, no complicated enterprise tools.
How it works:
• Host creates an event page (with banner, description, etc.)
• Guests scan/visit the link and upload their photos
• Host can filter by user, control visibility, and download everything
Use cases: weddings, birthday parties, company events, quest hunts, school activities, anything with people taking photos.

Fun fact about the name: "Lah" is a Singlish suffix we use in Singapore to add emphasis or friendliness. So EvntLah basically means "Event lah!" like "It's an event, just go with it" The app started as a real Singapore problem (my wife needed it for her event hunt).

I've been contemplating to use deepseek since my copilot sub is ending, I caved and topped up 20USD and tried out, to my horror, it was not as good as everyone say it is? It's beating around the bush, raking up tokens like nobodies' business because it is beating around the bush, constantly redoing what has already been done in the previous context, run a long query and then tells me he's a Github Copilot and running Deepseek v4 pro, without even editing anything, multiple times.
I'm genuinely curious, am I using it wrongly? I've been using copilot with claude for a long time, thought of switching to deepseek but seems like I'll move out of it after my credits run out.
I'm seeking for help/advice.
The only pro in this? The cheap cheap oh my god that's so cheap price.
