How is the market looking where y’all are? Is it easy to support a family with the salary? How do you see the future of the industry going? I love the funeral business and want to make it a career but with a family to support I have concerns.

I have worked in the career field before as a removal driver and was always interested in being an embalmer/director but being a father and having other responsibilities I am concerned about if it would be difficult to support a family as a Texas director/embalmer. I genuinely love the work, have the option to get an AAS/BS in Mortuary Science and more experience before the end of my military service but would love to hear from people currently in the field.
