Meet my beautiful boy, Ramboo.

If you saw my earlier post, he was living in a very small, cramped container, way too tiny for him. It broke my heart seeing him with almost no room to swim, but right now I honestly don’t have the money to buy a real glass aquarium.

So I got creative! I found a high-quality Styrofoam container thrown away as trash, still in perfect shape. I thoroughly washed and scrubbed it with soap & clean water to make sure it was 100% clean and parasite-free before use.

For the bottom, I collected smooth natural river stones myself, washed them spotless. I also added aquarium salt and Indian Almond Leaves (Ketapang) just like I should, to keep his water soft, healthy, and stress free.

And look at him now! Ramboo is SO happy and active in his new home. He flares proudly at his mirror, swims everywhere, and acts completely different than before.

It’s definitely not fancy or expensive, and it’s not a glass tank… but it is decent, safe, and spacious, and that’s all that matters. My boy finally has a proper place to live.
