First time reader, can't stop reading

I'm about 160 pages into Gardens of the Moon, and I'm so confused but also completely captivated at the same time. The only other books or series that have given me this same feeling are The Wheel of Time and The Will of the Many (or really anything by James Islington).

I can already tell this is going to be a top-three series for me, and it has completely pulled me out of my reading slump. There's something so exciting about having to uncover the plot for yourself instead of having everything explained directly to you. I have no idea what's going on half the time, but I'm having so much fun figuring it out.
