Adding new evidence after filing?

Hi everyone,

I have mostly been receiving care from a naturopathic doctor (licensed doctor in my state), in addition to my neurologist. I only now found out that an ND's notes and opinion do not count for SSDI, which is where the bulk of my evidence was. If I were to have a few appointments with a general physician doctor (I already have one with established care) where we discuss my limitations for ADLs, could that be submitted after I have already filed? If I am denied, could it be added in the appeal phase?

I do have two appointments with a physical rehabilitation specialist outlining my limitations with work, an appointment with my neuro where she wrote in the notes she supports me filing for disability due to my ADL limitations, and a recent psych eval where my depression, ptsd, and anxiety were fully outlined. I have no idea how many appointments and specialist is enough for them to see the pattern that I live in everyday.

Thank you!
