Girl I have been on and off with is going on a date with another guy
Hi all quick context: I have met this girl through work and we have gotten with eachother a few times over the span of the last 6 months. The last time was probably around 6 weeks ago.
We do share the same friend group and we just get a long so well, we have insane chemistry I would say and even other people frequently comment about it.
We obviously never really talked about what's happened between us and just go with the flow, even though I've kind of realised in the past weeks she was a bit less flirty and even telling me openly about her planning and going on dates with other guys. So I'd take that as a clear sign that she's not that interested in me but it makes it difficult for me to not feel a certain type of way about it and I don't really know what to do.
Normally I'd say it's good to be open about your intentions, but I also thought it was pretty clear that this is not fully platonic and if she wanted to explore that more she definitely would have showed that since we already broke that barrier several times. So I feel like if I would ask her to go out on a date I might risk destroying the whole vibe plus my friendship group. But I think deep down I'm actually really interested in her.
Other option would be that I keep the vibes up and just also start seeing other girls, which worked well in the past but then again we always kept getting with eachother randomly after 2 months of being completely friendly with eachother.
Any advice welcome, I'm a bit lost rn and probably a bit salty about her having a date next week haha
