Help

Hey everyone, I was hit yesterday by a box truck that ran a red light in Philadelphia, PA. I got injured pretty badly and my car will most likely be totaled.

I got the other driver’s insurance info and noticed there are multiple box trucks and vans listed under the same commercial policy. That made me wonder if this is considered a fleet policy.

What I’m worried about is whether the insurance limits are high enough. I’ve read that Pennsylvania minimum limits can be really low, like 15k bodily injury / 5k property damage, and my damages are probably way beyond that between the vehicle and injuries.

For people who have experience with commercial truck accidents:

- Does having multiple trucks under one policy usually mean it’s a fleet policy?
- Are commercial box trucks usually insured with CSL (combined single limit)?
- What are typical liability limits for commercial box trucks in Pennsylvania?
- Is it common for a company-owned box truck to only carry state minimum coverage?

Just trying to understand what I might be dealing with. Thanks.
