I keep seeing commies threaten to "eat the rich" and straight up dehumanize rich people. It's horrifying, because literally imagine if people talked about poor people like that, there would be outrage and riots.

Rich people and billionaires are literally just humans who happen to have a lot of money. That's all, they aren't all evil, they aren't reptiles, they aren't oppressing you, they're just people who either were born into a family with a lot of money, or they worked hard and found a winning strategy.

And for the ones who demand that the rich distribute their wealth, why don't you start by donating yours? And before you say you have none, if you're in a first world country and aren't homeless, then you're already better off than the vast majority of humans on the planet, heck even if you're the poorest person in a first world country you're still better off than the average person from a third world country because at least you live in a place that isn't a shithole.

If you think a billionaire has nothing to complain about because of the existence of people like you who are poorer than them, then you too have nothing to complain about because there's always someone who's worse off.

First of all, I don't think he's entirely bad, like his math videos are pretty well made, but when it comes to debating or "criticizing" others... He's not very good at that.

Let's take his video on my favorite scientist, Sabine Hossenfelder, for example. In his video, he called her "anti science" despite admitting she's clearly passionate about science, has some good science videos, and is literally a scientist. Why did he say that? Because she criticized academia. He also says her comments section is filled with "science deniers", and refused to elaborate on that.

Next, let's look at his beef with Matt Walsh. So this started when Dave made a video about the topic of gender, and Matt Walsh made a video reacting to it and respectfully disagreed, not once did he raise his voice or give a personal insult, but then Dave made a video calling Matt Walsh all sorts of things like "bigot" and "incel" completely unprompted, and spend 90% of the video just insulting him and talking about how angry he was rather than actually rebutting his arguments.

And finally, all the countless videos he made on Weinstein. To summarize, he doesn't like him because he has connections with Peter Thiel, a super cool billionaire who's hated just for being gay and successful.

First, I'm not a fan of James Charles personally, he did a lot of nasty things in the past and should definitely get called out for that, but I don't think he was in the wrong this time.

For those who don't know, he recently made a video where he ranted about some entitled person messaging him and begging him for money claiming she lost her job, and he told her to get a job and stop begging for money. That's just good advice, and she's most likely a scammer anyway because no decent person goes around and begging influencers for money, like I'm poor and I don't beg for money, and I dislike poors who do because they make the rest of us look bad.

The only thing I'd say is reasonable to criticize was him bringing up race, since that was unnecessary and spreads the racist and harmful idea that white people have privilege, but that's not what these people are bashing him for. They're literally mad that he told an internet scammer to get a job just because he happens to be rich. I'm poor and idc how much money he has, it's his money and he doesn't owe anyone anything.
