I've got some questions about content that i should or shouldn't add to an alternate 1987 TCM that im making.
Im developing an alternate 1987 TCM, and I just need some questions answered.

So the only changes to history is after ww2, this is with much more escalation in soldiers and marines sent over to china in 1950, in which they help the RoC hold southern china off from the communists in the PRC. That ends in a stalemate similar to korea in our history. Then, in Korea, the PRC has less of an effect overall since they now have an active border with the RoC. But this doesn't lead to a South Korea total victory. It more or less just moves the stalemate up above Pyongyang.
Some other events happen leading with a better american position in the Cold War, except for the internal struggle in the Union.
Should I just use the base 4 ideologies. If not, what ideology should be required?
Which is better? Tons of focus tree content for like 3 countries. Or shortish focus tree content for 10-15 countries?
Should a fixed research tree for 1987 be required for a finished beta?
If the idea of war causes research to advance faster than at peace is true. Then, should a modifier be added when a country goes to war that speeds up research by a small percentage like 5-10%?
