Hey yall , looking to get into a fishing kayak and having a hard time deciding amongst all the options. I’d like to be under 1,500 but am willing to go up to 2k if it’s REALLY worth it. I plan to primarily fish large lakes that can have some chop from boaters on weekends. I’d like to also be able to use in saltwater in bays (mission bay SD, San Diego Bay). I hear that pedal drive systems are pretty worth it. I’d like to focus on fishing rather than paddling to move slightly to a new spot. I also plan to roof mount this on my Honda civic to transport so not too heavy to lift. Thanks !
