An archaeologist friend that specializes in marine things said it is probably a scraper and has been worked. Went on to explain how the cup bottom is evidence of how they broke it from the rock and some other things I’ve forgotten.
The bottom(first pic) is silky, smooth, and one side of the top is as well. Sry my pics suck.

So our neighbors got some chickens and we hang out quite a bit. Also, Ivy wanders around during the day unsupervised. The neighbors are going to be letting the chickens out in the yard. Any ideas how to try and prevent what seems like the inevitable? Oh yeah, we dove hunt any Ivy is a fan. I’d like to not ruin that but would also like for her not to eat the neighbors chickens.
