Hello! About a year or two ago i got a root canal. I had a cavity going through the top of the tooth (not 100% sure if that makes sense) and had small openings on both sides. They gave me a root canal because of where the cavity was. I know they killed the nerve and everything but it was still quite sensitive at times but didnt bother me too much. About a day or 2 ago it began hurting a bit and i looked in the mirror after the shower and saw that something more than my tooth was exposed? Im 18, have had a fair share of cavities, but this is my first and only root canal. definitely going to see the dentist but im a bit curious if maybe this has different causes? Or maybe my dentist just messed the procedure up? Any insight is appreciated thank you.
