Posting this here because I am exhausted.
Oct 2024 was my kidney transplant from a living donor. From Oct-Jan 25 my team told me to hold off on the birth control pill that I had been taking the last year (bc of irregular bleeding) bc of risk of blood clogs.
In January I had my first period since the transplant and it was HORRIBLE. The worst pain ever tbh worse than the incision. My team told me I could get back into it so I did.
From January 2025-May 2025 I was bleeding non stop.
May 2025 my obgyn said everything was fine and my tests were normal and she couldn’t do anything. May 2025 I was like okay maybe my body just needs a rest from birth control, took it off and during the summer I didn’t get it and then from Sept 4, 2025 till January 2026 I had my period every single day😭😭
January 2026 I was getting married so I went back on bc, stressed that I was going to bleed thru my dress
January 26-Feb 26 I didn’t bleed and then with birth control since February I have been bleeding.
Has this happen to anyone else after??? My team says it can be possible but they have ever heard and I have consulted 3 obgyn and some don’t even want to leave me blood w
