Basically the title,Are there any repercussions if I contact the Ombudsperson at UofT?

Hi guys, i need help choosing a program if i have to transfer from rotman commerce to a program that basically has finance and econ . If anyone has any suggestions please it would be really helpful

I’m a first-year Rotman Commerce student at UofT and I’m trying to understand what options are available after ECO101.
I have used both attempts for ECO101 and didn’t meet the requirement, I’m meeting an academic advisor soon, but I wanted to ask here as well:
- What options are usually available in situations like this?
-Is an academic petition the only possibility, or are there other pathways?
-Has anyone been able to continue in Rotman after something like this?
