My dream truck is a raptor, but I can’t afford one. I’ve looked at older used ones but none in my surrounding area (Canada). I was thinking about getting a used f-150 2021-2024 and just throwing the raptor ford grille on the front, possibly an exhaust and new front headlights. Going for that raptor look a bit without breaking the bank. However, I’ve seen a lot of debates about the engine options between the 2.7, 3.5 and 5.0. I personally think I want the 5.0 v8 because it’s said that it’s most reliable and I love the sound of a v8. My biggest concerns are the oil consumption on those trucks and that 10 speed transmission. Any feedback or insight is much appreciated!
