So long story short, I am on Sustanon IM and my levels were too high on 0.8ml every 16/17 days so it was increased up to the same dose every 21 days.
Since the change, my body has tried to have a period three times now. Usually on the injection day, and stops after a couple days which is manageable. Now I’m not due for my next injection until next Friday and noticed bleeding yesterday which has got a little heavier today with cramping.
My trough levels are this Friday (hopefully if the doctors will call me before then so I can collect forms) and when I emailed my endocrinologist when I first started getting the cramps back his advice was that my body might need to adjust and to stick to the plan. Which was fine because at the time it would hit on the day of my injection.
My concern now is I’m potentially going to have a full blown period because I can’t have my injection until next Friday. I’d kinda like to hear if anyone else has experienced anything similar? Will pain be worse/bleeding be heavy? I’m a teacher so I’m just concerned with teaching next week and potentially getting heavy bleeding as I’ve not had a proper period for over 500 days now.
Luckily I can think practically and not get too dysphoric or triggered by it. I think it’s more the concern of my job, concern about the pain, etc that’s overruling the dysphoria atm.
