Is my old ACD girl likelier to accept a male or a female?
My 13-year-old blue ACD girl adored my red ACD boy who died about six weeks ago. He was very gentle. But she is generally not that friendly to other dogs.
I want to be sure that I increase the chances of success in bringing a new pup home. What do you all think about female and female or female and male? My girl is one of those moderately friendly heelers, but used to being alpha.
Will be adopting through a foster-based rescue.
