I usually would not post about something like this but I really feel stuck.
The relatively short version of the story is that there was an error in my final balance when my card was transferred from Wells Fargo to Bilt 2.0 and it still has not been fixed.
I have spoked with Bilt's online chatbot, Bilt's phone agents and emailed with Bilt countless times. I have provided documentation and spoken with Wells Fargo multiple times as well. (Wells Fargo insists that I paid off my balance in full before the transfer and that the issue is on Bilt's end- which also matches my records). I keep being told that my case is being reviewed and that there is no one else I can speak with because that "team only works by email" but they will not email me back. As a result of waiting, my account has accumulated interest. Bilt then charged me an entire extra month of rent.
I called yet again today and still cannot get any answers.
I have never encountered anything this egregious with a credit card company. If anyone has any suggestions, I would appreciate it. Do I contact the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau? My bank to report a fraudulent charge from Bilt?
